So Much More....

So Much More....

Christmas means so many things.
To so many different people.
It is the time of the year when our hearts are filled with love.
We put our differences aside and our enemies become our peers for a moment.
There is a magic in the air that the only way it can be described is magic.
It is all these things and so much more...

The stores start stocking for this special time as soon as Halloween is over.
We complain about the timing, and yet we still buy it.
It creeps up earlier and earlier each year.
We all get upset about it, but deep down we don't mind.
The children dog ear all their toys in every toy catalog.
Making Santa's lists that change day by day.
Starting in September you can tell your kids five magical words.
"Put it on Santa's list.", and chances are they will forget.
It is all these things and so much more....

Its the Christmas carols being blared from every store day and night.
The workers that loathe Christmas time.
Customers asking if they have a certain toy in back.
Thinking that yes elves do work in the back room.
Parent's praying each day to the toy God's that their child will ask for less.
Or at least the regularly stocked toy.
It is all these things and so much more...

It is the time of the year where children and adults believe in magic once again.
Kids knowing deep down that there is a man in a red suit that awards good behavior.
And most importantly the time of the year when parents can threaten with the horror of the naughty list.
Where every good thing outweighs the bad.
The time of the year when you believe miracles can happen, and they usually do.
It is all these things and so much more...

It is the feeling of community throughout the world.
The feeling of loving one another is the only thing on each others minds.
War is paused in theory for one day.
Goodwill is the only thing on the mind during this time.
Weapons are laid down.
And hearts are picked up.
It is all these things and so much more...

It's the twinkle in a child's eyes when they open what they have been asking for all year.
It is the peaceful snow falling at night, surprising the kids in the morning.
The clip clop of reindeer on the roof that every kid swears they hear at least once.
The parents with bloodshot eyes stumbling down to the tree trying to make any noise.
With one mission in mind, making their kid's wishes come true.
Christmas is the definition of magic.
For all these things and so much more...
And we all believe in it for at least one day.

Everyday

Everyday...

Everyday we must come to realize.
That each day that has passed there are two things about it.
One we can bitch and complain about what has happened.
Or we can learn from it so we don't repeat it.
The scars will always be there.
The nightmares you faced will still be in your mind.
The rain and storms will always remain.
But complaining about them does nothing.
It doesn't change anything!
The only way to make sure we make sure the past doesn't repeat.
Is by learning what to do in the present.
Which will make a brighter future.

Everyday we must be stronger than we were.
We must throw out all the excuses we have.
Block out all the negative.
Be louder than our demons.
Bigger than our dreams.
Flood the hate from ourselves.
And allow ourselves to bathe in love.
One simple positive thought is what we all need.
For those kind words cause a ripple effect in our mind.
Make us see what we need to see at the right time.
Smile at a stranger because who knows what battles they are facing.
Say a hello to friend or an enemy.
That maybe all the ammo they need to last through a day.
Be the best you can be.

Everyday we must forgive ourselves.
And others.
We are not perfect.
Our imperfections are what makes us who we are.
We may not be the strongest.
The smartest.
Or the prettiest.
But maybe we will never give up which is our inner strength.
Perhaps we are smarter than we give ourselves credit for.
And if someone doesn't find you beautiful, then they are not meant to.
We were born to learn.
We were born to make mistakes.
We were born to live.
We were born to become ourselves.

Everyday we must realize that we do not have all the time in the world.
Never miss an opportunity to tell someone that you love them.
Hug a friend or even a stranger.
Kiss your loved ones good night.
Take a second to pet your cat.
Or throw a ball to your dog.
Or stare at the fish in the fish bowl.
Time has a funny way of running out unexpectedly
For your loved ones.
For strangers.
And for ourselves.

Everyday we must live.

Revenge

And now the end of a trilogy that was never meant to become one!

Revenge

The hero standing in the mirror is an unexplainable sight.
A here ready not to go down without a fight.
Laces up his boots and they hit the floor.
Dying to kick down the villains door.
Goes out and looks up to the sky.
Mother Nature knows that today someone is going to die.
Trying to decide if he should arrive by ground or by air.
Either way he's hoping the result is no one knows he's there.
Until it's to late.
And he's already halfway destroying their place.
He takes off extremely fast.
Praying to God that his only failure will be left in the past.
He craves victory.
He demands revenge.

He runs through the door with a giant blast.
Locked and loaded ready to kick some ass.
The first nameless thug throws the first punch and the hero ducks.
At this exact moment our hero realizes his battle plan really sucks.
Punching though mindless monotonous thugs again and again.
Wondering when this pointless battle warm ups would end.
Almost as if Satan himself answered his call.
A giant massive villain carrying a massive ax entered the hall.
Our hero know his fighting skills were rusty and unreliable.
But sadly there were the only skills our hero has available.
Our hero smiles and beckons to the giant to come.
The giant mocks our hero and laughs, this is going to be fun.
He craves victory.
He demands revenge.

Our hero has to think of a plan of attack quick.
Before the only thing that is sticking out of his body is the ax's stick.
The hero runs toward the giant and disarms him of the ax.
Turning around instantly and with all his strength he has in him, picks him and breaks his back.
The giant writhing and screaming in pain.
The hero says to him, never forget my name.
Our hero walks further down the hall and sees a door covered in gold.
Thinking to himself this getting kind of old.
With all his might he punches the door down.
Totally unaware of all the other villains around.
The evil mastermind sits unphased at his chair.
Trying desperately to give off the vibe he doesn't care.
He craves victory.
He demands revenge.

The villains who were waiting in the room make a plan to rush.
With the adrenaline pumping in our heroes veins he manages to crush.
Every single villains hopes and dreams.
By destroying everyone of them and all they can do is run off and scream.
Our hero points to the mastermind and tells him he's next.
This is the moment our hero has waited for to prove he is the best.
The mastermind gets out of chair and bellows to our hero,
You are a failure, a nothing, just a pathetic zero.
The villain comes out of nowhere and throws a lands a punch.
Our heroes nose has no other option but to crunch.
The villain laughs knowing his blow hit his mark.
For a second our heroes sight goes dark.
He craves victory,
He demands revenge.

The villain sees this as an opportunity and uppercuts him through the window.
Our hero goes down which is the only he can go.
He dives head first into a car.
Leaving blood everywhere and the start of a scar.
A crowd gathers near.
From all the violence and commotion they hear.
The villain jumps down from his lair.
Begging the hero to try something if he dares.
Our hero pulls himself up with all his might.
Showing the world he came for a fight,
The fight goes by blow by blow.
How it would end no would know.
He craves victory.
He demands revenge.

With each punch, kick, throw the fight seemed closer to the end.
And out of nowhere they would start again.
Neither party wanted to give.
They both were willing to kill so the other would live.
Then out of nowhere the villain got the upper hand.
He has the hero pinned  to the cold hard land.
He tells the hero at least you tried,
But now it is way past the time you should of died.
The crowd watched in shock as they witnessed the heroes death.
And took his last breath.
But that sight stirred up something within.
And they all turned on the villain.
He craves victory.
He demands revenge.

The spectators had enough of the villains tyranny.
And everyone watching now craved victory,
They all wanted revenge.
They all knew the death of hero they had to avenge.
They all crowded the villain and took turns with punches and kicks.
And made sure each strike they let out sticked.
The death of the hero sparked the spirit of the hero within.
The battle our hero lost, but the war he did win,
He is now at peace watching from above.
His heart is now filled with peace and with love.
That day he saw a new breed of hero begin.
And the reign of the villains end.
He finally  get his victory.
He finally got his revenge.

The Cape (Tired hero part 2)

The Cape

Destiny has pulled me here yet again.
By the constant urging of family and friends.
I pick up the mask and the cape.
Silently cursing the winds of fate.

I remember the exact time I chose to walk away.
It was the most intense battle we ever fought that day.
Memories of the victories and good times flash through my head.
As well as the losses and inescapable visions of mindless bloodshed.
We each won a few of the battles, but they won the war.
The heroes wanted it bad, the villains wanted our destruction even more.
We had no choice but to wave the white flag of defeat.
After hearing children screaming and crying in the street.
Looking at their heroes with tear stained eyes.
Asking us why did we let so many people die.

The sky was black and there was no sun.
That was the only sign the villains needed to know they had won.
The world found out that day that yes even heroes shed tears.
And even though we rarely show it we still have our darkest fears.
  So many punches were thrown.
Too much hatred had grown.
They found a found away to fill us with so much anger.
That we had no choice but to become our own dopple-ganger.
They exposed to me what I didn't want to see.
That the demons and evil were deep within me.

The world knows we need heroes, but the villain they love.
They showed me deep down I no longer belonged up above.
The villains tricked the world into believing heroes are not real.
The very spirit and essence of the hero they did kill.
People stopped staring into the dark violent sky.
Hoping to see proof that man can actually fly.
The sad truth they started to believe the lie.
Heroes had a silent death.
No one heard their last breath.

After too many years being locked in my own prison.
I have been finally given a purpose, a reason.
It's time to stand up for the person who has lost his will.
Showing the world that there are heroes still.
Looking at the cape I see a few hole and some tiny blood stains.
Displaying so much hurt and pains.
The capes color is faded and the edges are torn.
As I hold it in my hands I feel a hero being reborn.
I put on the mask and look in the mirror.
The future right now couldn't any more clearer.
The time has come for a heroes victory.
I know deep down I have it in me.
To take out the villains one by one.
There's no where they can hide, and no where to run.

After I am victorious which I know I will be.
The world living in fear and pain will now finally be free.
I will be finally be able to put away this mask and cape.
Store it the worlds strongest safe
Using my own strength to crush the key.
Knowing finally I am free.
Loving the sound of the click on the lock.
Then I know deep down I can finally walk.
Walking away with my cape and mask permanently on the shelf.
Knowing in my heart we can all save ourselves...

My pen, My soul

My pen, My Soul

Before the pen even hits the paper there's a process I go through.
First I determine my audience whether it be myself or it be you.
No matter which way I write it for I write it the same.
My mission is for you to be able to change the I's and me's and add your own name.
First things first all the words must come from the heart.
That is the most important part.
My writing are the truest words from my soul.
To say it another way, this is me and this how I roll.
Do I take the time and make it rhyme.
And do what I do best and kill time.
Delaying even more the writing of my book.
In all hopes that these exact words will result in my writers block being shook.
Whether it be a book, blog, or poem.
This words from my mind is a giant portion of me I let roam.
Some people get mad from each and every positive thought.
But I know what is like to silently rot.
I spread the light for not only you but also me.
It always reminds me there's more than just darkness we can see.
I take lessons and memories from the past.
Times where I love and others where I have kicked in the ass.
I write about love, fear, dreams, and hate.
Because I know deep down we all can relate.
I'm afraid of the day my words go silent.
Since my creative side is where I vent so I don't become violent.
I've been told that so many of the words I have posted are in others heads.
They just have no way to get out of their skin and shed.
I pray that one day the voices that love to scream and shout.
Find an outlet other then a free blog to get out.
So this is me down to the bones, soul, and skin.
You now know why I write everything that comes from within!

Nightmare

I feel this poem needs a warning attached to it.  This is not a happy poem in fact this might be the sickest, creepiest, darkest things I have ever written in my life, and I'm proud of it.  It's my look at what I find the scariest thing imaginable, the things that some humans are capable of.  So please don't call the cops on me after reading this, or suggest I see a psychologist.  If you dare turn off the lights and read the words out loud if you want the full effect.

Nightmare

Look deep down what do you see there.
What is your most frightening nightmare.

You spot the clown staring at you.
Plotting, thinking, planning what next to do.
He starts making steps towards you to come close.
The fear kicks in, you can't feel your breathing, you can't feel your pulse.
He walks right up to you, because you are paralyzed by fear.
The clown has some words he wants you to hear.
He whispers in your ear, Run.
Why, he laughs, because it's more fun.
Your feet kick in and you swear you run a mile.
Trying desperately to escape that sick, sadistic smile.
You stop, look around, and see no one there.
When gloved hands come out of no where.
Around your neck denying you of air.
He laughs at you like you are some sick joke.
When the only response you can do is choke.
He grips his hands stronger on you.
Watching your face go purple, than blue.
He lets out of the sickest giggle.
As he feels your body make one last wiggle.
The last thing you and sickness deep in eyes.
He lets out last maniacal laugh and watches as you die.

Look deep down what do you see down there.
What is your most frightening nightmare.

You get off work really late.
In the darkness and shadows is where he will wait.
You walk up to your car and see him in your car window.
He's behind you, there's nowhere to run, no where to go.
He sticks you with the knife to start a little bleeding.
To show you this is no joke and he is not kidding.
He takes you to the trunk of car and tells you to get in.
Knowing that you will never see your family and life ever again.
During the car ride all you stare at is the deathly glow of the taillight.
Determined to not give up and you are only going down in a fight.
There seems to be an odd silence in the car.
The ride doesn't seem that long so you can't be that far.
You hear your captor singing a song.
As he drives you to your resting place and you have no choice to be go along.
He stops the car, opens the trunk, and tells you to get out.
You contemplate if you should scream or shout.
He tells its ok to scream your life away,
He likes it better that way.
He takes you to a coffin and a hole in the ground.
Your voice is so scared it can not contemplate to make any kind of sound.

Look deep down what do you see there.
What is your most frightening nightmare.

As you lie there asleep in your bed,
Dreams and fantasies run through your head,
You are sleeping so safe and sound.
Completely unaware that someone else is around.
Watching you from inside your home.
When you wake up and try to call it won't work, he cut the phone.
He comes out of the closet to stare at you as you sleep.
In your slumber dreaming so deep.
He licks his lips deciding what to do.
Just what is going to do to you.
Deciding if he wants you see it coming.
Or wake up as soon as the blood starts pouring.
He pulls out a needle and shoots you in the neck.
Completely unaware of the tiny little prick.
You awake in a completely  different surrounding.
All you see is the wood you are encased in and hear the dirt pounding.
Pounding on the grave you  have been placed.
Knowing deep down you know its too late.
You find a knife buried with you.
Giving an easy out if you want to.
Knowing there's not much oxygen left to intake,
You hear the the psycho on top whistling thinking to himself what decision you will make.
You pray to God asking to be forgiven for what are about to do.
Knowing that the bright light will soon be in view.

Look deep down what do you see there.
What is your most frightening nightmare.

People around us are capable of some many things.
Evil and hate in this world are the only things they bring.
Some will look in the mirror and see nothing wrong.
Others will sing your screams as some kind of trophy song.
Doors creaking,
Bones chilling.
Blood dripping.
Souls ripping,
We are capable of so much evil.
The scariest thing about it is that it is too real.
We all born with the ability to commit the ultimate sin.
Just give in to the voices within.
Listen to the demons and believe the stories they tell.
Cement your permanent place in hell.
Sharks, snakes, spiders, dogs, the mind makes them all monstrosities.
The thing that scares me most is what people have done, people like you and me.

Look deep down what do you see there.
What is your most frightening nightmare....

Up

Up

Wake up
Open your eyes and look around.
Hear every single sound.
Get dressed and get ready for a great day.
Make sure what ever is on your mind you say.
Show the world that you are you.
And there's nothing in this world that can you stop you doing what you do.

Stand up
Fight the good fight.
Always rise for what is right.
Never become the bad guy.
Because a good guy never really does die.
His presence lives on in others.
Their friends, family, sisters, and their brothers.
Show the world that they have something to believe in.
And you are never going to stop unless you win.

Look Up
Always keep your eyes on the sky.
Seeing how far you can go if you choose to fly,
Our dreams and goals are meant to be tough.
Life will throw curve balls at you every day making it rough.
Look at your friends and family that are always there.
The ones who no matter what happens will always care.
Show the world you are an  inspiration.
And you when you do succeed the whole world will join in on the celebration.

Give up
Stop thinking those negative thoughts.
Having them in your soul makes only one result, it rots.
Victory is so close you can get a little taste.
Don't make all the effort you put in so far be a complete waste.
The only person you need to be better than is yourself.
Put all that self hatred and failure talk on the shelf.
Show the world you are no one to mess with.
And you are tired of hearing all the same bull.....
